Sutta Study Friday Evenings 7:30 - 9pm
Friday evenings from 7:30pm to 9pm, a rotation of teachers lead by Joseph Rogers, and including Craig Swogger, will teach from the earliest Buddhist teachings: the Pali Canon. Suitable for all spiritual backgrounds, these teachings are designed to offer practical steps to decrease internal stress and suffering and increase happiness. The evening includes time for silent meditation, a talk, and community involvement.
Tai Chi for Beginners Wednesdays Thru March, 730 - 830pm
If you've ever wanted to learn Tai Chi, now's your chance. Patricia Ang will teach you a simple Tai Chi form that you can do at home, work, in the park, or wherever you find the need to bring calm, balance, openness and grace to the body and mind. Tai Chi has been shown to promote healthy blood pressure, reduce stress, improve sleep, balance and mood, and to reduce inflammation. Wednesdays through March, 730 - 830pm at the clinic.
